Birmingham Meet the Players night

Featured Replies

Great evening tonight was finally able to put faces with the names I have heard. It was a very casual evening with half of the room split between u of I and North Carolina. Team looks very good on paper on a sad note Jose Espinal was the first White Sox's Farm Hand in 2005 to violate the Minor League Steroids policy.

That stinks about Espinal. However on a brighter note, I think the Barons got a shot to be a pretty darn good team this year. They have some guys that should be fun to watch and in a few years, at least some of them have a good shot at being sucessful big leaguers.

Will the Sox still hold onto the kid? Any chance he could be released to send a message?

Wonder if Morse or Ulacia will show up on roids again this year. I would not doubt that is why Ulacia is out to start the season.

Espinal was reportedly release by the White Sox.
