Ft. Myers, Fla. -- The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed first baseman Justin Morneau on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 7, with a concussion. Morneau suffered the injury in the 8th inning of the April 6th game at Seattle after being hit in the head with a pitch by Ron Villone. To replace Morneau on the roster, the Twins will recall third baseman Terry Tiffee from Rochester (AAA, International League) on Wednesday.
