EU constitution could be in trouble

Featured Replies

The EU Constitution is a joke. They left out all the areas of disagreement so they could have a document.

Baby steps, you gotta have a base to start from. Eventually they'll argee on a strong constitution.

Remember, we didn't get it right our first time around either.

Excellent point.

They've been debating about a constitution for decades. I'm not a fan of an EU super state. There are too many differences between their confederation and our confederation that would make their problems completely unworkable.

The EU constitution is a joke and not even a real starting document because it doesn't attempt to address any of the core issues that separate the over 20 member states.
