Later on, Damaso was called for a balk which brought home a run for the A's. Damaso was irate, pleading his case to the ump, but to no avail.

 

My question: we have players so pissed for various reasons that they are on the verge of being tossed from the game, WHERE THE HELL IS OZZIE when all of this is going on??? He needs to come defend his guys, because if he doesn't nobody will.

I think for the most part Ozzie does defend his players. That game was sloppy towards the end. It'll be interesting to see what happens tonight though.

Actually Ozzie Montana did go out and talk to the ump while Carl was walking down to 1st.

Remember that Hunter Wendelstedt is out on that field. Remember the one that Ozzie got suspended for last year calling out. Do you think arguing would help at all. Most likely the player and Ozzie would get tosed. Its not worth it.

 

If Ozzie was upset with Everett getting plunked. He could always have Politte put one into Chavez's back or something. Remember you can retailiate if you wish to.
