May 6, 200520 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2054265 I'll be honest, I wrote this guy off for good. I'm very glad he's back, and hopefully he can become a stud pitcher and put his past far behind him. I advocated drafting this guy at 15 instead of Brian Anderson, how wrong was I?
May 6, 200520 yr I thought like Josh Hamilton, we'd never see him again. Out of High school he was viewed as the second coming of Josh Beckett so here's to hoping he stays sober and thrives

Hell, just about every prognosticator said Anderson was a sadnwich or 2nd rounder in that draft and that Sweeney would go before him. All Anderson does is hit. Everywhere he's been.
May 6, 200520 yr Ya, I still can't figure out with Anderson. I never thought he'd come in and tear up Charlotte. I thought he'd be in for a rough first half....shows what I know, LOL.
May 8, 200520 yr QUOTE(Randar68 @ May 6, 2005 -> 09:32 AM) Hell, just about every prognosticator said Anderson was a sadnwich or 2nd rounder in that draft and that Sweeney would go before him. All Anderson does is hit. Everywhere he's been. Alot of people were scared of the wrist injury that eventually needed surgery. He has come back nicely from it and it appears the worries were unwarranted.
