May 6, 200520 yr Well I'm looking to get a new set of tweeters and speakers for my car since my old ones are horrible. Does anyone know of any affordable speakers that aren't crappy and can get pretty loud? As you may be able to tell, I know little on the subject.

May 6, 200520 yr Also some good companies to search for (Not in any particular order): Rainbow Infinity Polk (If you got the cash, Polk Momo's are GREAT speakers) JL Audio of course Rockford Fosgate is very expensive and the sound quality is pretty good, but if your expecting something AMAZING from the price, you're not going to get it... Boston Acoustics I would recommend you do NOT buy sony, or most of the type of speakers that they sell at places like best buy or circuit city.. The best place to go for speakers would be an actual car audio shop..
May 6, 200520 yr last year i bought some 6.5" Pioneer Components for my Monte Carlo, and i think they were about $100 shipped. I got them online from a place called Etronics. Heres a link to their component page -> Etronics You can find some great prices on many different name brands. shipping and handling was pretty low, and it was prompt delivery.
