f***in Boras is a genius. Maggs is essentially guaranteed $75 mill now.

 

He can work himself healthy for years 4 and 5, or whichever years it was that guarantee the options for 06 and 07, and he can make himself $105 mill for playing 2 seasons if he wants.

 

You see one of the reasons the Sox do not mess with Boras. Not many Boras clients produce until their contract year, or so it seems, and even when they don't produce then, he still gets them hella good deals(Millwood making $7 mill this year, Lowe getting 4-years, $36 mill, Maggs getting 5-years, $75 mill)

 

I want to know how the f*** he does it.
