Gene Honda Civic
Both players were available this past off season. Both are struggling mightily. Triple Crown = AVG, RBI, HR Here are their current stats. Dye -- .200/.248/.392 6 HR 14 RBI Hidalgo -- .204/.266/.363 5HR 19 RBI
Kalapse
Jermaine Dye will be going up against: Chan Ho Park, Pedro Astacio, Ryan Drese. Richard Hidalgo will be going up against: Orlando Hernandez, Jon Garland, Mark Buerhle. I'm putting my money on Dye.
Jake
Dye will break out! 1 homer every game!
rangercal
Dye. He gets to face texas pitching rather than sox pitching for Hidalgo.
UofIChiSox
I'd say Dye, but if it were 3 games against a different opponent, such as Dye vs. Detroit Hidalgo vs. Detroit I'd go with Hidalgo. That's a better measure, IE, if both hitters faced the same pitchers, I'd take Hidalgo.

Punch and Judy Garland
I went with Dye just because he might play in ore games this series. Both have been just brutal. I guess Texas is mildly luckier that they have him for one year while we have Jermaine Jackson for two years
That funky motion
I think Dye is starting to look better at the plate! I also liked the fact that he did'nt get booed. Im sure he was expecting it!
