I know what the press release says......  I was also there.

Alot of times the home team counts season tickets in the attendance, even if

they do not actually show up since they are paid for in advance.

Dude, you are disagreeing with the wrong guy. My guess is Rex knows all those rules and every nook and cranny of that park.

First off I am no "Dude"...

And I wasn't disagreeing with anyone. I was just offering my insight from personal experience of over ten years in the sports ticket business as to

why the announced attendance may be different than the actual attendance.

I was a little hard on Stewart I should have written that today Jenks is how it all started leadoff walk is a pitching sin. And Razor was outclassed by Bobby Dickerson the fake bunt then hit and run the Squeeze and the stolen base.

"Outclassed" I am not sure I get that one????

I think you have to give a credit to the West Tenn players because you can

be the greatest "coach" in the world and if the team doesn't execute, it

means absolutely NOTHING!!! They do have the best record in all of minor league

baseball after all.

We should have won that game last night plain and simple and all the

fake bunts, hit and runs, squeeze plays and stolen bases doesn't mean a

thing if the Barons play solid ERROR-FREE baseball. Usually the team

that makes the least mistakes win the game...........

Glad you caught me on that I wasn't meaning it to sound that way I can't believe I wrote that what I was meaning was West Tenn took a lot of high risk high reward plays and they got all the bounces

Thanks for pointing that out to me

Sorry, had not idea you were a lady, my apologies. Just that Rex has worked in that ballpark for years, so I figured you were someone on this board who was not aware of that.

You're correct with the exception that season ticket holders are always counted not just often. The difference Friday night was rain. They had a huge boy scout night planned and many did not show up because of the nasty thunderstorms that came in around 4:00.

I know there is always a difference between actual and announced, I just found the differential humorous. Don't mind me, I have issues.... :)
