A trade idea for the Sox

Featured Replies

If the Sox need a player right now or down the road here is who they can get. Not only is he a Cy Young winner but is a good pitcher too. He is struggeling now but he needs a change in location. Barry Zito for Orlando Hernandez and Timo Perez. If not that then if they need power in the lineup look no further than Sean Burroughs of the Padres. He is looking for a new home and the Sox are interested. Joe Crede, Honel, and Perez for Sean Burroughs.

No way in hell would the A's do the Zito trade.

Or the Padres trade for that matter.

Hell No and No. Zito = Done while El Duque = Still Good. Burroughs strikes out a lot doesnt he? Besides 3 players for an average player?

Noone will trade for Timo Perez he is s***.

Timo Perez = Nothing

Kris Honel = Nothing (He is no longer considered a top prospect)

Orlando Hernandez = Noone is going to trade for an 50 year old average pitcher with arm problems.

This is not MVP Baseball you have to give something to get something.
