Does anyone know what the average sentence is for a battery charge?

I was drunk at a bar in chicago and they made me leave and I got pissed and supposedly hit one of the bouncers. I was blacked out and dont remember any of it, all i know is that I got arrested and charged with battery.

probably a year or two of probation. don't know for sure, but that'd be my guess.

Depends on what other trouble you have been in. First timer, no jail time. Now the police may have arrested you on battery, but the city/state has to decide if they will charge you. Depending on the severity of what happened, you may wind up paying a fine for drunk and disorderly.

At least that's what use to happen when I was younger and dumber.
