June 18, 200520 yr Utley has 30 hoemr pop, so it's not that crazy. But Castillo is terrific. He isn't running though now so it's a question of when he gets his legs/hip back. Just for the record, I was against the Lee-Pods trade wanting to deal Konerko for Castillo to leadoff for us.

Maybe I'm sleeping on Chase, but still though.... Luis Castillo: Kicking ass since 1999 Chase Utley: Kicking ass since April of 2005 I choose Utley

June 20, 200520 yr As great as Roberts has been, I still wonder how long this can hold up. As for Castillo, he's having a career yr so far. Much better power (if ever in this era there's been a guy more dedicated to the art of the single...), more hits, and he just doesn't strike out. Which says to me, he's going to revert to form a bit (not completely, perhaps -- he should be in the prime of his career, after all). For a season, I guess I'd take Kent. Although, I've been a Vidro fan too. But I think Utley's the choice long term. It's hard to turn your back on power like that -- especially at a position where you don't find much. And a lhb, who gets on base... It's not a strange choice at all.
June 20, 200520 yr jeff kent has made a name for himself even though i dont like him, but id have to go with luis castillo, or craig biggio, im goin on career stats here
