Hawkeye's on Taylor St.

Featured Replies

Ever been? It comes highly recommended--Great sandwiches, awesome atmosphere, hot waitresses. Stopped in before tonight's game and I have to say it was a very neat joint--across the street from Rosebud.

You've obviously had quite a few tonight. Damn, not to mention Jopon Garlamnd.

No, no, no...all is well. I just haven't made it down to Taylor St. in awhile and was really impressed with the neighborhood and how bumping it is. Hawkeye's was a very clean and fun atmosphere, complete with its own parking lot down the street.

used to go there all the time in college. certainly a great place to go.

When I was in college, I went there a few times. Nice place. For eats though, I prefer Illinois Bar and Grill (across the street or something like that). The hamburgers there are HUGE.
