heard this piece earlier this week.. they were talking about the most annoying thing people have experienced on the elevator...

mine.. sorry if I expose anyone at one financial place... but my most annoying thing I have experienced on the elevator... when someone holds the elevator door while carrying on a conversation with someone not on the elevator.. I just wanna shove the person off... if the conversation is that important... finish it and wait for the next car!!!

How about the people who ride just one floor DOWN during rush hour. Coinidentally, those same people are usually like 80 lbs overweight.

Yes. I also hate people that push the button when it's already lit. Yes, that'll make the elevator come faster. :stick

Totally my pet peeve. And not even just during rush hour. Hello, how difficult is it to walk up or down the 11 friggin steps separating one floor? Seriously, take the damn stairs!!!! It won't kill you! Drives me up the wall...

I hate that as well, but in our building, you can get out on a floor, but can't get back in (unless it is the first floor than you can get in and out there).

Ours is the same way. Many buildings are like that.

I found out the hard way.

Our building is all security badged at each floor, so to get off at a floor, you have to be "allowed" to do so. The stairs are the sameway, except instead of only openning in the lobby, they open to the outside, and are impossible to get into to use going up.

Kinda related, this s*** happens downtown ALL the time.

The person right in front of you gets off an escalator or out of revolving doors and just f***IN STOPS RIGHT THERE, cuz they don't know which way to go. So, you come out right behind them and are trying not to bump into them while also trying to not be run over from behind by the next person.

My big pet peeve is when you get to the groundfloor and people try to shove onto the elevator while people are still trying to get off of it.  I am not sure what the hurry is because you aren't going anywhere until I exit the elevator anyway.

same thing happens on the trains. :chair

And buses.

That's the only time I get really rude, when people do that. I have been known to put up an elbow to block people from boarding when people are still trying to disembark with an accompanying rude remark. That's the only time I ever get really aggressive, and when people try to cut in line. Oh, watch out man. Don't make me angry like that.....

same thing going in... people walk to the door, instead of thru the door...
