The offense was the story tonight. I feel kinda bad for B-mac. Everybody was gushing over this guy during spring training. Now? Lets just say I hope he figures out what the problem is. The pen "other than Walker" was good. How bout Jermaine Dye? I guess Jabroni's sig worked.

McCarthy down and even though he has had maybe 2 good starts the kid has not be very impressive. He gives up a lot of homers and is terribly inconsistent. He just isn't ready. This is another example though of the Sox farm hands (esp. pitchers) failing to come through. Discouraging, but I have to keep reminding myself that that are young and inexperienced.

 

Walker will go back when Marte is ready after the All-Star game and El Duque will be back too. Who goes down then? Timo maybe?

That rain delay was BS. It didn't even rain the first hour of the delay, and then it drizzled a little. It was raining harder during the game than it ever did during the delay. BMac needs the rest of the year in Charlotte. Kevin Walker needs to become a bucketboy. Tampa Bay gets BMac and Walker the same game and still can't win. No wonder Sweet Lou wants out.
