In fact the only way I can imagine us totally missing the playoffs is if that wash up joined the team. A reliable 4th starter ought to be priority #1. The best one we can get (depending on the price). This would be my current priority list: 1. Jason Schmidt (in part b/c I'd like to swap SS too). 2. AJ Burnett (if Miami will take Contreras as part of deal). 3. Jamie Moyer 4. Roger Clemens (would be #1, but it's not going to happen). I wouldn't have thought so either, until I read the article suggesting they would turn around and trade for Jason Schmidt once Burnett was gone. Of course that is likely even more far-fetched.
