July 16, 200520 yr MLB teams often throw bones to their Minor League affiliates with players on rehab. Most go to AAA, but some will do AA and on rare occasion Class A. Sometimes they send a player somewhere simply because they want them to go where the team is at home so they are not traveling by bus.
