July 16, 200520 yr Just got back, and damn, what an amazing show. The Crowes kicked some ass to start and then Tom and the boys really hit it off. The new songs by TP were awesome and I was really impressed with the energy from the band.
July 16, 200520 yr Author Wow, I'm still clearing the cob webs from last night. Did I mention I was going to the Cubs game before the concert? (don't ask, I had to take clients) We got a super late start after the game and didn't even hit the road til 5:30. Arrival time? 6:30, no traffic on I-57 or I-80, no problem, Thx again guys!

Because it was all on I-294!!!!! lol I have never sat in so much traffic at 7PM on I-294 between I-55 and 127th street.
July 16, 200520 yr The concert was kick ass. I had lawn seats cuz they were only 28 bucks...I sat on the left side right in front by the railings...I don't really like the Black Crows but Petty again puts on a great performance...Awesome show...
