Local kid scouted at the open tryout signed by big Dave Wilder. I didn't think much of him when I seen him but from the looks of it he has turned it around.

I'll try and get the PR up fairly soon.

This is the exact same way the Sox signed Ehren Wasserman. He tried out at the Met and was signed. While he isn't a top prospect, he has had a couple of good years in our system.
