I know this might seem odd, but how do you disable the "auto" fill option on windows xp? It drives me crazy. Eg. I type in "www.m", and the address bar shows a screen with 40 site that I've been to that start with www.m. I don't know why, but this feature drives me crazy.

Go to Tools, Internet Options, then under the Content tab...

hit the Auto-Complete tab and set it as you want it.

Thanks. My wife uses the address bar as a search engine :bang (just guessing what the address might be). I was getting so sick of all of that crap popping up.
