July 28, 200520 yr Imo this is good news. Maybe Shingo never pitches for the Sox again, but if he can harness his control, maybe he will. The reality is you can never have to many veteran pitchers around, because you never know what will happen. SB

July 29, 200520 yr The prospects should get the defined roles. Shingo can pitch whenever. There's no need in trying to 'develop' Shingo.
