picnic in the park

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone on this board has ever been to the Picnic in the Park?? if you could please tell me all about it, i'd greatly appreciate it. I paid the $250 to go to it this year and was wondering if all the players are there and the details. Thanks.

The only thing I know about this event is that Don Cooper walks around with his shirt off the whole time. Makes it a bit uncomfortable.

The worst part is he keeps asking everyone,

"You gonna finish that?"

I went to one, maybe the first one, in the early '90s. It was fabulous. Almost all of the players were extremely friendly and accessible, there was a silent auction, the food was good and the fireworks show was great. I can't imagine you won't love it.
