Royals signed shortstop Jason Dellaero to a minor league contract and assigned him to Double-A Wichita.

The Royals still can't resist occasionally adding a no-hit infielder. Dellaero, a 1997 first-round pick, was released by the White Sox last week.

they are welcome to him

i guess they need someone with intimate knowledge of our team so they got him

first caruso , now dellaero...guess they got a thing for failed white sox SS

LOL! Perhaps they may go to other former Sox INF positions and agree to terms with Chris Snopek!

Dellaero, if any player ever need a change of scenery, is that guy.

I doubt he will ever hit, but I am rooting for him. I loved watching that guy play SS.

Did the whole pitching experiment end with Jason? What happened to that?

After last year I think he decided to stay a SS.
