May 9, 200322 yr Five walks is no good. I agree with you, his walk totals are starting to creep up... At the major league level he will get killed if he walks this many guys.

May 10, 200322 yr Cotts threw 97 pitches in 5 innings. It was the second straight outing he approached 100 pitches in only 5 innings. He definitely goes too deep into counts. He has good stuff but still needs to change his approach. If he is to improve (and I think he will) you'll see less strikeouts, but less walks also. I think you will see him in AA all year.
