September 15, 200520 yr Well, it looks as though they continue to be a thorn at the end of a season. Not only do they get swept by the Indians this past weekend, but now they get a chance to help the Indians pass us up. I am sure they are looking forward to it. Man, I am taking a break. I'll catch up during the homstand.
September 15, 200520 yr Yeah, this year the Twins have 6 playoff games, and they are the 6 games remaining against the Sox, I'm sure they will play and handle them like playoff games...

You mean fold like a deck of cards to the Yankees? That'd be sweet.
September 15, 200520 yr QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 04:31 PM) Yeah, this year the Twins have 6 playoff games, and they are the 6 games remaining against the Sox, I'm sure they will play and handle them like playoff games... September 15, 200520 yr QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 02:31 PM) Yeah, this year the Twins have 6 playoff games, and they are the 6 games remaining against the Sox, I'm sure they will play and handle them like playoff games... Let's put it this way...one of those 2 teams is going to rise to the occasion. The last 3 years...it has been the Twins that rose to the occasion when they faced the Sox late in the year. If our Sox want this division...they need to rise to the occasion tomorrow.
September 15, 200520 yr You just know that the Twins players would love nothing more than to dash the Sox' divisional title hopes again. The Sox just can't let that happen again this year.
