UC76 Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 I'm so effin' pissed right now. I'm almost shaking with rage. Literally. I quit smoking but I just walked to the corner and got a pack. I'm not kidding. I needed a cigarette bad. I have a sudden headache from being so pissed off. I don't know why these guys have to swing for the fences with guys in scoring position. Why do they always do this? Is it because they want to be an effin' hero? I don't get it. A guy is on third with the winning run and they swing for homers like the extra runs are going to count. I don't get it. s***, just take a chance and try a suicide sqeeze. Why not? Try something. Try anything. These guys are going up there swinging for the fences and popping up when a weak little single wins the game. It's effin' pathetic. And stupid. It's sad when there are runners all over the bases and you know they're going to blow it. If the Sox blow this lead I honestly don't know if I'll ever follow them the same again. This might change things forever, at least for me. Maybe that's just the anger talking right now. Maybe next spring I'll be just as happy to see them. But I don't think so. All they ever do is let their fans down. Every year. Seriously. This is four years in a row they were in the race in the second half of the year, and this might be the fourth year in a row they choke. Yes, choked. I was trying not to say the word, but now I'll say it. They're choking. I think I'm starting to believe this team has a lot of wusses. Look, I'll always be a fan. The Sox will always be my team. But if they blow this, I don't think things will ever be the same. I devote a lot of my heart and attention to them. I spend alot of time and money going to games, watching on TV, and listening on the radio, and they can't even have the courtesy to play baseball the way even little leaguers are taught.
