but did anyone else get Angels playoff tix, hoping that they'll play the Sox in the ALDS??

 

I did - if anyone else wants to hang out beforehand or after, let me know.

If we make the playoffs I'd like to play the Angels the most out of the playoff probables, mostly because we start with 2 here and it'd be better for us since we don't play well in the west coast plus we get an extra game at home. And especially if Bartolo comes into the playoffs on the wrong note (he pitched badly against the D-rays and they are pushing his start up to three day rest, so if he pitches badly again it would not be good for him and their opening starter).

If the Angels clinch in Oakland (and they will), Bart will skip his last scheduled start to rest for Game 1.

It wasn't me who tried to prevent these threads on this site. I'm pretty sure it was our loyal janitor who wanted to put an end to them until they were clinched.

I do, but after this loss tonight...

 

Man, I just don't know. I have a very bad feeling about this week. I worry that the Sox won't even make it to the playoffs, that they've fired up Detroit and will continue to leave men on base and will lose 3 of 4 and be faced with elimination going into Cleveland. God I hope I'm wrong. And if I am, I'd love to meet up with you before a game in Anaheim.
