southsider2k5
He also joined Mark Buehrle and Jon Garland in winning AL pitchers of the month in 2005, the last time that 3 pitchers from the same team won POM awards in the same year was 1991 when the Twins Jack Morris, Scott Erickson, and Kevin Tapani accomplished the feat. kapkomet
A comparison to the 1991 Twins. Let's hope that we have the same fate as they did, huh? BTW, CONGRATS, JC! Awesome!
greasywheels121
Let's show the baseball world why you got that award Tuesday JC!
Queen Prawn
Congrats! I hope he can show that it was the right choice when he pitches next!
DBAHO
Remember at the start of the season when KW said we could have 5 15 game winners in our rotation. Well 3 ain't too shabby, and Freddy was only 1 game away. JC also had about the 3rd lowest BAA for starters in the AL behind Santana and Zito. Shows how impressive he's been when he cuts down on the walks, forces hitters to put the ball in play, and not giving up the long-ball.
