I really don't think we have to worry about Cooper going anywhere, especially to the Yankees. Hell, he pisses off King George one time and its "Off with his head!"

I hope we can extend his contract past 06. Coop has been MAJOR help to this pitching staff and if we could keep him with Buehrle, Garland, Contreras, Freddy, and McCarthy for years to come, it would be soo great for the pitchers to have an excellent pitching coach by their side. I think Coop has grown on them and they have all turned out to be better than advertised. I know Coop used to be on the Yankees but I really hope he doesn't go to them. I think he has found a home here with his ex-team-mates and his prodigies.

Relax Coop is not going anywhere JR has to give Coop permission to talk the Yanks and since he is not getting "promoted" JR will not let him leave and most likley offer him a contract extension.

I think we can still get Nardi back if Coop leaves.

yeah i'm pretty sure JR and KW know what they've got with Coop... i'm worried - but i think it'll all work out and we'll have Coop for a good long time

who says we wouldnt give coop the money? with the playoff revenue and all of the apparel sold already, the team payroll should go up anyway.
