This beats the 104 wins that they won in 1917, whn they won 100 games during the season, and 4 games in the WS. Of course, othe season was only 154 games long, but it's worh noting. Although you are correct, the stat isn't relevent since the newest playoff system was adopted. The last comment I have no complaint about.
