iguchi=dank
I love this team and if your not confident about paul being on the losing end of tomorrow, then you need to check your sack down there. Byrd isn't gonna get away with the s*** he throws 2 games in this series. Our hitters have to be too confident and are gonna be FOCUSED tomorrow so they can come home to the airport with... I'd say 10,000 lunatics there to greet them. soooo How does everybody A: Feel about the outcome tomorrow (confident, nervous) and B: How does Byrd and Count fare tomorrow And if you want. Will we use more than 1 reliever tomorrow. sorry but another CG just isn't gonna happen, although the angels lineup reminds me of ours during our slump times late this year. My guess. sox 6 angels 5, count screws up a little around the 6th, our relievers come in and make a mistake or 2 but nail the coffin lid shut down the stretch Edited October 16, 2005 by iguchi=dank

Anyways, as I've been throughout the post season and this season, I'm very confident in our guys but I'm also nervous because that's just how I am. Anyways, GO SOX!!!!!!!!! iguchi=dank
Well i got a little ahead of myself.. i mean byrd isn't a BAD pitcher, but seriously he's a guy who throws funky and the more you see him, the better your gonna hit (usually). and cmon he is their 3'rd or 4th best pitcher. Not to mention the fact that we are ON FIRE and the angels are lookin for water

Flash Tizzle
If nothing else, the entire lineup shouldn't be shocked with Byrd's pitching style or arsenal. While Byrd is a quality pitcher, their AB's were terrible early in Game 1. An obvious approach was adopted to swing early because of Byrd's control. Later in the game, as hitters took more pitches, their AB's became more productive. Don't forget, the entire game was littered with hard hit outs. The general consensus among Angel fans appeared to be they were lucky for limiting the damage. Contrereas, however, had two runs score against him due to indecision alone. He genuienly pitched well. If Count duplicates his performance from Tuesday, and the rested bullpen fulfills its duties, I'll be SHOCKED if we lose. If Sox avoid errors, odd decisions, poor baserunning, and receive a little help from the umpires, they should be celebrating a World Series birth.
