October 17, 200520 yr QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 07:53 AM) Houston would be nice. Tex, you got ticketmaster dialed in, or some other wink wink nod nod back room deal going yet for those Houston tickets? Weekday is going to suck, but I'm planning on a ticketmaster assault.
October 17, 200520 yr QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 01:00 PM) Weekday is going to suck, but I'm planning on a ticketmaster assault. I hear you... The thing is I can't get ticketmaster at work. f***ing firewalls. Anyway - I think I'll come home for lunch tomorrow and see what I can get my grubby little hands on. It is tomorrow that they go on sale, right? I'm thinking game 5... wouldn't that be kick ass to see ... um ... we'll just wait and see.

I'm thinking game 5... wouldn't that be kick ass to see ... um ... we'll just wait and see. I just realized a major Ticketmaster call center is down teh block from me. I know someone that works there, at least he did 6 months ago. I have got to find out if I can snag an in.
October 17, 200520 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 12:45 AM) Buehrle, Garland, Contreras, Garcia. This rotation sets up Jose Contreras as the pitcher in any potential game 7, and evens out the rest between the staff. Wouldn't it make more sense to be certain Jose gets two starts? There is almost a week break so everyone is getting plenty of rest and rust. Win it early.
