Mercy!
Thank goodness he didn't make a crack about Little League. Before Sunday's game, Guillen was in a talkative mood in the Sox' dugout. He covered number of topics, including the value of having Michael Jackson suit up for a major league team. Yes, Michael Jackson. Guillen's point was that he didn't want to be a part of a team that signed marquee players just to get fans to buy tickets. He wants winners no mater their price range. He said if a team just wanted to bring aboard a marquee name, they might as well sign Jackson. One reporter, not sure if he was hearing things correctly, asked Guillen if he really meant Michael Jordan. ''Michael Jackson, everybody wants to see how he looks in a uniform,'' Guillen said. ''With Michael Jordan, we tried that and that don't work either. It's true. If you don't win, you're not going to bring anybody to the ballpark, I don't care who you [sign].'' http://www.suntimes.com/output/sox/cst-spt-soxnt17.html

Mercy!
I prefer that old school “high socks” look, myself. But I guess PJ’s might do.

This is back when Mike Jackson was on the Mariners. Anyone else remember that?
