October 27, 200520 yr I wanted to go but couldn't, so whoever went tell us about the details on everything that wen't down.
October 27, 200520 yr Author sounded like a ball, I hope to see you all at the sox parade/rally/ That should be a blast as well.
October 27, 200520 yr I was shocked at how many people left before the MVP award and the post-game press conferences. Then I realized they were all going to get the Sox World Championship gear that went on sale immediately after the last out. It was as close to "home" as the UC can get. The only thing missing was a certain beer vendor.
October 27, 200520 yr It was great, although the first 6 innings were kind of boring and nerve wrecking. After Freddy got that K with the bases loaded, the place was rocking. Me and my Dad left a few minutes after the game because we heading down to Halsted and eventually Bridgeport, screaming "World Championssss" and waving our Sox flag. Unreal.
October 27, 200520 yr WAS A BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Downed a few shots with some fellow White Sox fans, celebrated like it was 1917 ran around like a fool in the rain outside. All in all a great night. They did a really great job of bringing the game atmosphere to the UC. Granted, it felt like a game in early May against the Royals as there was only a few thousand there. But it was absolutely awesome! I have no voice at all. And I made it to work today... :banghead
October 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(rudylaw @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 08:22 AM) I love that guy. I love the HOTTTTTTT DOGGGGGG guy. You can even hear him clearly on the TV.
October 27, 200520 yr LMAO! I TOO SAY THAT: you can hear the hottttt dog guy on TV! I've heard him too! My favorite beer vendors were Frank (at the stand under Fundmentals) and Bob (ponytailed guy in left field bleachers). I feel bad because I did not get to say goodbye to them this year (not being able to go the ALCS or series).
