Congratulations Jermaine Dye

Hopefully, this is not a repeat thread, but I didn't see it on pages 1 or 2, so:

I just wanted to congratulate our right fielder for winning the World Series MVP award! Replacing Ordonez was difficult, the slow start had some people calling him Jermaine Dead or Princess Dye, but Jermaine stayed strong, came on as the season progressed and played a VERY valuable role in the White Sox success this year!

While my MVP vote would have gone to Joe "Brooks Robinson Version 2.0" Crede, the beautiful thing about this team was that you could easily have made a solid case for any number of players. But JD is as deserving as anyone, so CONGRATS to him!!!

Win......Cuz Dye Was Trying!!!!!! :headbang

EDITED to say WHOOPS, I just saw the JD MVP thread on another page, please merge this one if you wish! Sorry about that!!!!

Dye had some big hits this series and that homer of clemens really kicked things off.

So Dye wins a world championship, wins an mvp and gets a free car. Yeah thats a pretty good day.

Big props to JD. I wasn't crazy about him when we first signed him as I thought he wouldn't be able to produce as he had in the past due to injuries. I'm glad he proved me wrong.
