October 31, 200520 yr in addition to the highly talked about SI commemorative book, I have found that the Tribune, Sun times, Sporting News and possibly others are coming out with thier own sox commemorative books.

Not a big enough market for a pro baseball team. If they ever get a pro sports team here, it'll be the NBA. Pretty good town, lived here my whole life, but I'd rather be in Chicago, no doubt. It wasn't the Barnes and Noble downtown, by the way. And yes, the Louisville Slugger museum is outstanding.

November 1, 200520 yr hey guys, one of the best places to get these books is actually Dominick's. ive been to a few out this way, and right in the entrance they have a sox headquarters with ALL the books you need... i bought the SI, trib, and two others there on Saturday.

November 1, 200520 yr I'd say the Trib book is the best. I don't have much time right now to run through all of them but the Trib book is a collection of 120 pictures from throughout the year and stories that accompany them.

SI is done with the white sox...Here's their cover on the first magazine after we won the World Series. Yep, that's the sox up there in the top right corner.
November 3, 200520 yr For the Chicago locals, Dominicks and Jewel are good places to get them. I got them as soon as they were delivered (by luck). They were sitting there in the boxes in front of the mag rack and I had to tear off the plastic wrap. I got the one from the Trib, SI and one called Gold Collection. Just based on graphics and construction, the Trib one is the best by far.
