Six injured by Pit Bulls.

Featured Replies

First of all I have a pit bull. I have owned it since it was a pup and she is trained. Even before she was trained she was obedient. She has all her shots and is a good dog with my family. Actually the only reason I have it is because I live in a bad neighborhood. I didn't even buy it, it was a gift after my other dog died. I wouldn't even had thought about getting one if it wasn't a gift. Now I am not saying that my dog couldn't turn on me but I do as much as I can to prevent that from happening. It's also grown up next to other dogs, it's been with another dog it's entire life.

Pit Bulls do have a track record of turning on thier owner but look at the owners first. Were the dogs mistreated? Were they fed? How are they kept around, leash or no leash? What kind of fence or barrier? I personally have a six foot fence. If a dog is beaten or not fed how do you suppose it's going to respond? I mean some people feed their dogs gun powder!
