November 21, 200520 yr I've got the fever! We're trying to plan a trip to Minny for the Bears-Vikings New Year's Day Game. Any tips on getting tix or cheap hotels near the dome or general Minny tips would be appreciated, Thx.
November 21, 200520 yr We stayed at an Econolodge there in 2000. Rooms were like $40, but we saw a fight brewing outside our room when we got back from the game in September, and the place was just an overall s***hole. We stayed at a Radisson I believe it was in 04...pretty nice place, and my dad got the rooms pretty cheap off of Priceline or some such place. I don't recall how close it is to the stadium, but it was like a 5-10 minute drive on the interstate IIRC. Also, I seem to recall seeing a Days Inn around that Econolodge I stayed at, and it looked a hell of a lot nicer than the dump that is/was the Econolodge.
