December 5, 200520 yr On the music channels on XM and Sirius, are there DJ's or are they talk-free. I'd like to know because I'm researching for commercial usage. Thanks for your replies in advance. Even the mocking ones.

Well.. they do commercials for other shows of theirs. You wont hear a commercial for Max Madson.. but you will hear one for MLB stuff on XM and NFL stuff on Sirus.
December 5, 200520 yr I do on traffic stations and that sort of thing, but very rarely about other stations, unless say I'm listening to rock and they advertise or say "Bruce Springsteen on channel 10"... That's about it.
December 5, 200520 yr That's a "promo" not a commercial. They all have DJ's, it just seems that only a small portion of the day for most channels are actually hosted. And rarely live.
