It's also the one year anniversary of Dimebag Darrell's assasination at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus - in concert.

I think your general dislike for late-era McCartney stuff is warranted, in comparison to his best work certainly.  But please try to get a chance to listen to the new release with an open mind (Chaos and Creation in the Backyard).  2/3 of the tracks are really strong, and even though a couple are forgetable none of them suck.

I'll give it a try, but I think McCartney peaked with "and on the Run".

I’m 16 yrs. old so I was nowhere close to seeing the Beatles when they were together, but I can tell you that I enjoy the work they did.

My father and I sat down and watched Lennon Legend yesterday and I have to admit that tears went down my face when listening to songs like Imagine, Mother, and Watching the Wheels. And I feel for John and Ono. My father told me of how badly people criticized both of them when they were together. Yet seeing them in the movie made me feel gratified because they loved each other.

R.I.P John. You were a great one.
