White Sox selected infielder Tim Hummel from the Cardinals in the Triple-A phase of the Rule 5 draft.

Holy cripes. Mitch Wylie. Hell, I didn't even know the former Sox was still around, let alone was going to be a Rule V pick at the major league level.

I like Uggla, and see him taking the starting 2B job next season. The only reason I can see that Arizona left him unprotected is because they are glutton with infielders.

 

As for McGrew, I would of rather saved the $50K, unless he really is good enough to win a bullpen spot.
