That was disappointing to read.

 

The Berghoff is always one of the restaurants that I suggest to people down here when they travel up to Chicago.

It was always nice to go there for a lunch break with my dad.

 

First, Marshall Field's now this. All of these great Chicago institutions are going away.....

At least Berghoff's was a family decision to close. Not Macy's showing it has a bigger sack. Bastards.

 

I hope people stop shopping there until they change the name back...or even better, sell it.
