Nevada gave a tax break to property owners, while West Virginia lowered its tax on food from six cents per dollar to five cents.

 

Wait. Wasn't NY a blue state? I'd say Hillary is probably majorly pissed, but then she just got a tax cut.

Are Senators making over $150,000?

 

I wonder if Senators are like other workers who live in one state and work in another and pay multiple state taxes. They may be paying Washington D.C. taxes, not state. Interesting loop hole.

I'd venture to guess that Hillary is not just living off of her senators salary. Nothing to base that on, just a hunch.

Residents of Washington D.C. pay federal taxes and I think that's really about it. Is there a city income tax there?

DC has a city income tax. When at school, I worked on campus and had to fill out a DC tax form.
