Not publishing a news worthy story is the hardest conclusion an newspaper editor can reach. I'm not certain I can ever agree with it, but if I was ever going to do it, this would be the kind of situation I would.

 

I would hope they would do the same for anyone else caught in a similar situation, and the article seems to hint that it has been done before.
