Here's a good reason why the church shouldn't be allowed to handle these things on their own:

"During a deposition in August, Joliet Bishop Joseph Imesch said a priest skinny-dipping and playing poker in the nude with young boys was "inappropriate," but because Imesch did not consider it to be sexual abuse, he moved the priest to another parish, according to court documents unsealed Thursday."

Nice work, bishop Imesch, you stupid jackass.

what the hell happened to priests reading the Bible?

Priest A: "Aw, man, what do you want to do tonight?"

Priest B: "s***, dude, I don't know"

Priest A: "Well, we could either study scriptures again or..."

Priest B: "...or what?"

Together: "Skinny-dipping and playing poker in the nude with young boys!!!"
