I've gotta agree with him on this one, as much as it pains me to do so. As a fan at the Cell on Saturday and Sunday versus the Tigers, I was embarassed by just how bad the Sox are playing. It's past being "early" in the season. This team needs a swift kick in the ass or they will be at least 10 games behind the Twins by the end of this roadtrip.

May 27, 200322 yr I'm not even going to read it. Whatever Mariotti says will be right in this case. It is so f***ing easy to pick out what in the hell is wrong with this team. Get rid of Rick White to start with. I'm not ready to end the season quite yet. Get him out of here, and then see what happens. Also....if they can possibly unload Konerko on the Orioles, taking part of his salary, that'd be great as well.
May 27, 200322 yr It's amazing how quickly Konerko has fallen. His stats are truly miserable for late May. Hard to believe he's doing this badly.
