February 17, 200620 yr Hey, does anybody know anything about a bar at 4115 N. Lincoln called the Horseshoe? The reason I ask is because my band is making it's first trip to Chicago and will be playing there this Saturday, the 18th. The band is called JACKHEAD, we got together in Carbondale, and now are mostly residing in St. Louis. If anybody is looking for something to do on Saturday night, come on out and I will buy you 2 drinks of your choice. Just ask somebody who the bass player is and tell me you are from Soxtalk. He recently put out a concept album about Cairo, IL and he does a kind of multimedia thing with a projector. If you don't know, the history of Cairo is actually pretty interesting. February 17, 200620 yr It's a cool little place. I go there on Tuesdays for 25 cent beer night. It's a good time. They have pretty good food too.
