Ok, so I just registered at Getty Images. I thought once you register, you can view the image at its full size without the watermark but apparently you have to buy the flipping photo!? Is this correct???

it's meant for companies & depends on purpose but can go as high as in the thousands. have no clue on starting price though...

It's all about liscensing and rights to use the photo I guess. A bunch of bulls***.

it's geared toward magazines, design firms, etc. who would mass produce the photo and in some way profit from it like from magazine sales, newspapers, etc. ...
