Chisoxfn
The players association will vote tomorrow on a deal that would push the cap to 110 million or so. It is expected that the players will agree to the deal.
KWs OK for Me
110 million? Wouldn't that put the Bears something like 30+ million under the cap? What was it expected to be 94 million?
Chisoxfn
If they don't agree it would be 94 or 95 million. I should add I just saw Jerry Jones on and he didn't sound very pleased. Said the players could very well reject it. That said, the figure was very close to what the players wanted. If they vote no, than it means the following year will be an uncapped year. No further negotiations would be made.
Felix
Just something about the Bears cap (can't remember what thread it was being discussed, move this if you know/want to ), the Sporting News seems to agree with you guys with it being ~$17 million, rather than the ~$7 million ESPN and company think it is.
