So, Chris Widger pulled up lame after trying to leg out a hit in yesterday's game in Atlanta. I have looked around on the web a bit, and I can't find any follow up.

 

Anyone know what happened? Is it a big thing or a small thing? Is he healthy for Opening Series if needed?

The Widge appears to be fine.

Catcher Chris Widger sprained his left ankle Sunday and was removed from the game, but it is not believed to be serious.

I love the depth of our team at every position. I love having Widge to back up AJ.

 

Although Widger is probably sad because Mason lost. Poor him.
